Let Me Introduce Myself....

Hey guys! I'm Cassie!
Where do I even begin? Well, I am 31 years young and engaged to the most amazing man. He has a smart and artistic little boy named Mason who just turned 8 and I can't wait to share a last name with him!
Together we also have 4 long haired miniature dachshunds who I love more than life itself - Molly (5 Yrs), Tucker (2 Yrs), Yankee (1 Yr) + Piper (7 months)!!
In addition to my business I am also a full time marketing director for our local shoe company Run Fit Sports and Jason owns his own landscaping company Picture Perfect Lawns, LLC.
We have a big, extended family and we LIVE for it! We love throwing parties and having all of our favorite people over. I can't wait to put together party posts!
Now, onto the 'MAIN THING' - Why Collection Twenty-Two? Well, I originally started a side gig called Nora Rae Designs back in 2012 or so and just did random projects for people. But it was never where I had wished it was.
Fast forward to 2018 when I met Jason and I had truly gained the BEST support system. We talked for hours about ideas, how I would market myself and my business, what I would create, etc. I took a huge leap of faith and with the help from my Mom and Jason I completely rebranded myself and along came Collection Twenty-Two!!

Collection from me not being able to just provide ONE specific thing to my customers and Twenty-Two because Jason and I started dating on April 22nd, 2018 (and we are also getting married April 22, 2022!!).
Along with the new business name came a new adventure!! For months and months I would watch an Insta-friend named Karlee Gail Bowman work and thrift for her antique booth and change her set ups and it was so inspiring!

So, In October 2019 I decided to open my own antique booth at a local antique mall where I would sell not only antiques + collectables but also my own handmade items like my shirts and Starbucks cups. And I did REALLY well for about 2 years!! But getting engaged, working full time, trying to plan a wedding and the prices rising - I decided to step away and close my booth in October of 2021. I am sure I will find my way back one day or even better.... have my own store front!
Then, I started this website at the end of 2021, applied for my LLC + new tax ID information and it has been such a blessing ever since! I can't believe I have a REAL business now. I enjoy creating new products to share with you all and I hope the Collection Twenty-Two brand will continue to grow!
This blog will be a creative space where I can publish anything from just a random thought to how I planned my dream wedding on a budget and everything in between! I look forward to sharing with all of you.
